When overhauling a fluoroplastic centrifugal pump, it is necessary to be familiar with the structure of the centrifugal pump, and at the same time pay attention to four important links: correct disassembly; cleaning, inspection, repair or replacement of parts; careful assembly; the relative position of the assembled parts And the adjustment of the clearance of each part.

General precautions for disassembly are as follows;


   1. Follow the disassembly process of the fluoroplastic centrifugal pump, and try not to disassemble the parts that do not need to be disassembled.


   2. Record the original data, such as the alignment data of the rotor of the pump and the driver, the length of the main bolts before and after disassembly, the bearing bush clearance, etc.


   3. The relative position and direction of each component should be marked and placed in an orderly manner, so as to avoid mistakes during assembly after repair. Although some parts (such as impellers, bearing bushes, bushings, etc.) are interchangeable, they are not assembled during assembly. You should switch positions at will. Otherwise, the balance of the rotor will be affected, and the fitting parts that have been run-in will have to run-in again, or other problems will occur.

   4. Parts with small assembly clearance should be prevented from swinging left and right during disassembly and damaging the parts. Conditional pumps can be installed with guide rods before disassembly to avoid swinging and bumping of parts.


   5. For the uncovering of the large horizontally split pump, first loosen the connecting bolts in the middle of the shell, and then loosen the peripheral connecting bolts in a certain symmetrical order. In this way, it is possible to prevent the possibility of upward warping deformation of the periphery of the upper casing of the pump.


   6. When separating the two connected parts, if there is a jack screw hole drilled, it should be disassembled with the help of the jack screw. When the two connected parts cannot be disassembled due to corrosion or other reasons, they can be soaked in kerosene for a period of time and then disassembled; if they still cannot be disassembled, the containing parts can be heated. Parts separate.


   7. Try to use special tools when disassembling.

  In order to remove the oil stains and dirt on the parts, it can be cleaned with kerosene, diesel oil or special cleaning agent. For the parts that need to be welded, carbon tetrachloride, acetone, etc. can be used to clean. For dry rust, it can be removed with a shovel or sanded with an emery cloth. The adjustment of the internal clearance of the pump during the assembly process is achieved by changing the thickness of the gasket, grasping the tightening force of the connecting bolts, and adjusting each screw specially used for adjustment. If necessary, the relevant dimensions of the parts can be changed.
